Tell AI WHO it is. "You are a professional marketing copywriter for small businesses in Punjab." This sets the expertise level, tone, and perspective. Without a role, AI gives generic output.
Give background information. "The client is a newly opened gym in Jalandhar targeting college students aged 18-25." More context = more relevant output. AI can't guess your client's situation.
What EXACTLY should AI do? "Write 5 Instagram captions for their launch week." Be specific. "Write something" vs "Write 5 Instagram captions" — massive difference in output.
How should the output look? "Each caption: max 150 words, include 1 emoji, end with a CTA, include 5 hashtags." Format instructions prevent AI from rambling or giving wrong structure.
